New Online Degrees in Education

Public School Educators
Want to improve their technical skills, tackle a new subject and earn professional development credit should check out the list of graduate level classes WVU has to offer. For registration details, contact the Extended Learning call center or call 1-800-2Learn2.

Substitute Teachers
Extended Learning is offering two online classes for substitute teachers. If you do not have your 5202 permit, there is an initial training class. If you have your permit, the renewal class meets the state requirements.

Continuing Education
WVU offers numerous continuing education classes online including genealogy. Learning can be fun and convenient from the comfort of your home computer. Click for details.

Extended Learning also helps faculty develop web courses through the Instructional Technology Resource Center (ITRC) http://www.wvu.edu/~itrc/ and provides grants to help defray the costs. The Morgantown office also houses the public relations and marketing office which provides information to the media.

Directions
Take I-79 to exit 155 (West Virginia University).
Turn right at the Sheetz Gas Station and cross the Star City Bridge on Rt. 19 South.
Continue up the hill to the WVU Colliseum and turn left onto Patterson Drive.
  Turn right on University Avenue.
Turn left just past the McDonalds and then immediately left again on West Everly Street.
