WVU Extended Learning is sponsoring an enlightening trip through one of the most controversial chapters in American history. The forced removal of the Cherokee Indians from the southeast became known as the “Trail of Tears.” This trip is one in a series of travel study courses offered each semester.
The 4-day, 3-night trip includes:
West Virginia University is offering credit for teachers who need professional development credit and undergraduate students. The class is also available for non-credit students who just want the learning experience.
